This page has some websites that were used used during lockdown and you may find some of them useful for ideas in the event of future home learning.
Oxford Owl Reading website has been added below, with links to e-books for all ages from 3 to 11. These books are free to access. You will just need to join as a parent.
Another website with free access has been produced by the Scouts organisation and has lots of practical activities you can try at home. There are literally hundreds of games, challenges and art projects you can do both indoors and outdoors! Enjoy!
BBC Bitesize Daily Lessons has launched today. Lessons are from P2 upwards and it might give you a few more ideas.
A new website was launched for home learning on 6th April by The Book Trust. Here you can find lots of interactive books to read online.
There are classic children's stories including Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy by Lynley Dodd to Owl Babies by Martin Waddell and Patrick Benson, along with newer favourites such as Chris Haughton's Oh No, George! and Everybunny Dance! by Ellie Sandall.
You can also watch Storytime videos from the likes of Ore Oduba, Adam Buxton, Fearne Cotton and many more.

Parents please check the suitability of the story before you allow your child to listen to it as it may be suitable for older readers/listeners only. For those parents looking for further ideas and guidance on how to use their day Twinkl have set up a Home Learning hub with a timetable of activities, both interactive and printable. The age group most suitable for P1 is their page for 3-5 year olds, initially! This valuable resource is currently free to parents and is set out into each area of the UK depending on the curriculum they follow. ie for us it is the Ni curriculum.
